There are some mornings where I realise I'm half holding my breath waiting to hear Heidi's voice to let me know she's through another night. It's a little backward as she is so strong now, but I guess the odd moment of pessimism will creep in. The buzzards are enjoying the lively air - I feel there are moments when we can soar with them. Sometimes it seems lonely when we have sick friends both human and animal. The weather has changed here in Scotland and I do believe that we are in for a stormy night.
